In 2023, I traveled to Jingdezhen expecting to find traditional ceramics—the kind you see in museums, muted and timeless.

Instead, I found something unexpected.I found young artists experimenting with bold glazes and vibrant colors. I found masters challenging centuries of tradition.

I found creators who believed that ceramics could be contemporary, colorful, and full of life.I heard their voices. And they were nothing like the stereotypes.

That's when Ceramic Voices was born.
